Community Name: VALUES IN EDUCATION

In this community we will be talking about different aspects concerning education, with especial emphasis to education in values as it is definitely key to assure that our children grow up to we respectful and committed to preserve freedom and promote the common  good for the conservation of democracy and seeking the common good. If we assure education in values we will also make sure that our students will be able to live in harmony with the others and to life a happy life. Therefore we will be sharing information, opinions, interesting advancements, important events and we will be able to share and exchange opinions, information and resources with other educators.

We have chosen Facebook, which is a social network that allows you to talk and share different contents with other users. Also, it allows to create groups, access applications for entretainment, manage events, shop... and even gain money with advertisements.  

We have chosen Facebook because it has tools and features that let us to connect better with the educational community and to share contents and information more easily, because the teacher is not the only one who can make publications. In addition, there are members of our group that do not know how to use other social networks such as Instagram and are used to the design of Facebook.  

Personal opinion:

I think that virtual learning communities are very useful, we should take advantage of the hyper-connected world in which we are leaving and make use of all these tools to improve and develop the learning community. I think these because not only are we able to share info, which is already very useful, but we are also to share contents, discussions an interact with other educators and students which is even more enriching for the community.
